New York

Nobody signs at eleven in the morning.

They sign at 21:40, in a workshop, after the last job of the day. XenoSign is built for that hour: one email, one link, and a sealed record with both names on it.

Read by a person, usually inside two business days. Whoever signs what you send never needs an account.

The places

Six of them, photographed where they happen. Drag the strip, or pick a frame - the caption below follows whichever one you are looking at.

A signature is a moment in somebody else’s day.

Before the office opens

A finance agreement that could not wait for nine o'clock. The signer read it in a cab, at a services stop, with the engine off.

Emails this envelope sends

A model, not a promise: these move the way real envelopes move - more signers is slower, in order is slower than in parallel, and reminders mostly rescue the tail rather than hurrying the people already reading.

Lifecycle

The whole record at once. The live row moves on its own until you touch it - after that it is yours.

One envelope, both sides of it, twenty-five minutes.

The figures

The hours these agreements actually keep.

11min

Median to the first signature

From delivery, not from sending.

93%

Complete inside a week

Of envelopes that reached a live address.

54%

Signed outside 9 to 5

Evenings, weekends and the small hours.

When signatures land

By hour of day, local to the signer. Only 37% of them happen between nine and five; the peak is 21:00.

Hours each side takes

Preparing is quick and getting quicker. Responding is the half that decides how long a deal takes.

  • Sender prepares
  • Signer responds

Time from delivery to signature

A distribution, not an average - the tail is people who genuinely had to read it.

Share completed, by day after sending

One series, so no legend: the title names it. The curve flattens on day four, which is why reminders stop rather than continue.

Trust

A signature is only worth its record.

Two sides act; one record reconciles them. Everything below is what that record contains and how long it lasts.

A signature is rarely the point of anybody’s day - it is the thing in the way of it. What survives afterwards is the record: four events, two parties, one sealed file.

    The trail is the product

Sent, delivered, opened, signed or declined - each with a timestamp to the second and the address the action came from. It travels inside the completed PDF and nobody can edit it, us included.

  • 02

A link belongs to one address

Forwarding a signing link to a colleague does not let them sign in your place. That is the difference between a signature and a rumour.

  • 03

We do not read your documents

No profiling, no training, no scanning for anything other than malware. We disclose a document only where the law compels it, and where we are permitted to, we tell you first.

  • 04

    Ten years on file

Completed documents and their trails are kept for a decade, because a dispute rarely arrives the same quarter. Anything that never completed is deleted after eighteen months.

Questions

Asked by both sides.

Half of these come from people who have never used the product and are about to be asked to sign something with it. Those are answered here too.

Send it tonight.

Applications take about four minutes and are read by a person, usually within two business days. You need a real business, the paperwork you actually send, and an address you check.
